iPod 1st Generation Scroll Wheel Replacement

Remove the Scroll Wheel

With one hand firmly grasping the iPod, pull the strip of tape upwards with your other to remove the Scroll Wheel from it's housing.
Be sure beforehand to slowly peel the tape off of the other buttons to prevent them from being pulled off as well, notably the Play/Pause button & the Menu button
