Disconnect the digitizer cable

  • Grip the digitizer cable close to the head and pull it away from its ZIF connector slowly and steadily to separate the coating.

  • If the coating feels stubborn, reheat the connector and try again.

  • Keep pulling on the cable until it comes completely out of its socket.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the head of the cable and the ZIF connector for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating—heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in its connector.

Débrancher la nappe de la vitre tactile

Saisissez la nappe de la vitre tactile près de la tête et tirez-la hors de son connecteur ZIF lentement et régulièrement, pour décoller le revêtement.

Si le revêtement résiste, réchauffez le connecteur et réessayez.

Continuez à tirer sur la nappe jusqu'à ce qu'elle sorte complètement de sa prise.

Lors du remontage :

Contrôlez la tête de la nappe et le connecteur ZIF pour vérifier qu'il ne reste pas de revêtement susceptible d'empêcher une bonne connexion.

Décollez le revêtement, en chauffant la nappe et le connecteur ZIF si le revêtement devient trop friable.

Il n'est pas nécessaire que ce soit joli ! Il vous suffit d'enlever suffisamment de revêtement pour que la nappe s'insère correctement dans son connecteur.
