Disconnect the power button

  • Use blunt nose tweezers to grip the cable close to the head and pull it away from its ZIF connector slowly and steadily to separate the coating.

  • If the coating feels stubborn, reheat the connector and try again.

  • Gripping the tweezers closer to the tip can help you get a tighter hold on the cable.

  • Keep pulling on the cable until the cable comes completely out of its socket.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the head of the cable and the ZIF connector for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating—heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in its connector.

Koppel de aan-uitknop los

Gebruik een pincet met botte uiteinden om de kabel zo dicht mogelijk bij de aansluiting vast te pakken en vervolgens uit het contact weg te trekken om de coating los te trekken.

Als de coating niet veel meegeeft, verwarm je de aansluiting en het contact nog eens en probeer je het opnieuw.

Hoe dichter je je pincet bij de uiteinden vastpakt, des te meer grip je hebt.

Blijf de kabel wegtrekken tot de aansluiting los is gekoppeld.

Bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel:

Controleer je de aansluiting en het ZIF-contact op resten van de coating die een goede aansluiting in de weg zouden kunnen zitten.

Verwijder je de resten van de coating. Verwarm de coating als deze te broos is geworden om in grotere stukken te worden verwijderd.

Het hoeft er allemaal niet mooi uit te zien! Zorg er vooral voor dat de coating rondom de aansluiting en het contact is verwijderd, zodat deze de aansluiting niet in de weg kan zitten.
