Disconnect the power button

  • Use blunt nose tweezers to grip the cable close to the head and pull it away from its ZIF connector slowly and steadily to separate the coating.

  • If the coating feels stubborn, reheat the connector and try again.

  • Gripping the tweezers closer to the tip can help you get a tighter hold on the cable.

  • Keep pulling on the cable until the cable comes completely out of its socket.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the head of the cable and the ZIF connector for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating—heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in its connector.

Scollega il pulsante di accensione

Usa delle pinzette dalla punta arrotondata per afferrare il cavo del pulsante di accensione vicino alla sua testa e allontanarlo in modo lento e costante dal connettore ZIF per separare il rivestimento.

Se il rivestimento sembra testardo, scalda di nuovo il connettore e riprova.

Prendere il cavo vicino alla punta delle pinzette ti aiuta ad avere una presa più salda su di esso.

Continua a tirare il cavo finché non esce completamente dalla sua presa.

Durante il rimontaggio:

Ispeziona l'estremità del cavo e il connettore ZIF per cercare se è rimasto del rivestimento che potrebbe impedire il formarsi di una buona connessione.

Rimuovi il rivestimento, scalda il cavo e il connettore ZIF quando il rivestimento diventa troppo friabile.

Non deve essere bello da vedere! Devi solo rimuovere abbastanza rivestimento perché il cavo si posizioni correttamente nel suo connettore.
