  • Use a 1/2" plastic putty knife to apply the mixture to the outside of your trash can.

  • If the surface of your trash can is extremely smooth, sand the area around the damage before applying the mixture to allow it to adhere better to the surface.

  • This mixture will begin to harden within 3 to 4 minutes, so work as fast as you can to get an even layer on the surface.

  • Allow the mixture to cure on your trash can for at least 30 minutes.
