Disconnect the interconnect cable

  • Use the tip of a spudger to lift up the locking tab on the ZIF connector.

  • Use tweezers, or your fingers, to grip the blue pull tab on the interconnect cable and disconnect it.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the ends of the cable and the ZIF connectors for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating, heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in the connector.

Koppel de interconnectkabel los

Gebruik de punt van je spudger om de vergrendeling van het ZIF-contact omhoog te klappen.

Gebruik een pincet of je vingers om blauwe treklip op de interconnectkabel vast te pakken. Trek de treklip weg om de kabel los te koppelen.

Bij het weer in elkaar zetten van je toestel:

Controleer je de uiteinden van de kabel en de ZIF-contacten op resten van de coating die een goede aansluiting in de weg zouden kunnen zitten.

Trek je de coating-resten weg. Verwarm de kabel en de ZIF-aansluiting als de coating te broos is.

Het hoeft er allemaal niet mooi uit te zien! Zorg er vooral voor dat de coating zodanig is verwijderd dat je de aansluiting in z'n geheel in het contact kunt plaatsen.
