Disconnect the interconnect cable

  • Use the tip of a spudger to lift up the locking tab on the ZIF connector.

  • Use tweezers, or your fingers, to grip the blue pull tab on the interconnect cable and disconnect it.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the ends of the cable and the ZIF connectors for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating, heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in the connector.

Déconnecter la nappe d'interconnexion

Utilisez la pointe d'une spatule (spudger) pour soulever la languette de verrouillage du connecteur ZIF.

Utilisez une pincette ou vos doigts pour saisir la languette d'extraction bleue de la nappe d'interconnexion et la débrancher.

Lors du remontage :

Contrôlez les extrémités de la nappe et des connecteurs ZIF pour vérifier qu'il ne reste pas de revêtement susceptible d'empêcher une bonne connexion.

Retirez le revêtement, en chauffant la nappe et le connecteur ZIF lorsque le revêtement devient trop friable.

Il n'est pas nécessaire que ce soit joli ! Il suffit d'enlever suffisamment de revêtement pour que la nappe s'insère correctement dans le connecteur.
