  • Repeat the previous step for the other corner until the entire cable is disconnected.

  • Lift up the cable and peel off any remaining coating holding it to the motherboard.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the ends of the cable and the ZIF connectors for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating, heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in the connector.

Répétez l'étape précédente à l'autre coin, jusqu'à ce que la nappe sorte complètement de sa prise.

Soulevez la nappe de l'écran et enlevez tout résidu de revêtement qui la fixerait encore à la carte mère.

Pendant le remontage :

Inspectez la tête de la nappe et les connecteurs ZIF pour vérifier qu'il ne reste pas de revêtement qui pourrait empêcher une bonne connexion.

Retirez le revêtement, en chauffant la nappe et le connecteur ZIF s'il devient trop cassant.

Il n'est pas nécessaire que ce soit joli ! Il vous suffit d'enlever suffisamment de revêtement pour que la nappe s'insère correctement dans son connecteur.
