Disconnect the interconnect cable

  • Use the tip of a spudger to lift up the locking tab on the ZIF connector.

  • Use tweezers, or your fingers, to grip the blue pull tab on the interconnect cable and disconnect it.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the ends of the cable and the ZIF connectors for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating, heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in the connector.

Verbindungskabel abtrennen

Benutze die Spitze eines Spudgers, um den Sicherungsbügel am ZIF-Stecker anzuheben.

Fasse die blaue Zuglasche am Verbindungskabel mit einer Pinzette oder deinen Fingern und trenne das Kabel ab.

Achte beim Wiederzusammenbau auf folgende Punkte:

Prüfe die Kabelenden und die ZIF-Stecker auf eventuelle Beschichtungsreste, die eine gute Verbindung verhindern könnten.

Ziehe die Beschichtung ab, erwärme das Kabel und den ZIF-Stecker, wenn die Beschichtung zu spröde wird.

Es muss nicht schön aussehen! Du musst nur so viel Beschichtung entfernen, dass das Kabel richtig in seinem Stecker sitzt.
