Prepare the area

  • Identify where the button fell out. Clean up the area including removing any old thread which is still there.

  • Prepare the needle and thread, and the replacement button.

  • Tip: many garments come with a spare button on the inside, sewn to the care label. Check there, before buying a new button.

Bereid het gebied voor

Identificeer waar de knoop is uitgevallen. Maak het gebied schoon, inclusief het verwijderen van oude draadjes die nog aanwezig zijn.

Bereid de naald, draad en de vervangende knoop voor.

Tip: Veel kledingstukken worden geleverd met een reserveknop aan de binnenkant, genaaid aan het onderhoudsetiket. Controleer daar voordat je een nieuwe knop koopt.
