  • Once you have created the Bootable USB Drive, made a backup of everything, and have successfully installed OpenCore on your Mac, you are ready to continue.

  • Restart your Mac, and hold down the Option (alt) key on your Mac.

  • In Startup Manager, you will see the OpenCore logo, and it will say "EFI Boot"

  • When booting into the OpenCore OCLP boot picker for the first time, your Mac will then boot into it by default on every restart.

  • You must have the USB Drive connected to the Mac BEFORE loading the OCLP boot picker, or else it will not show up. Also, if you had to install OpenCore on the USB Drive instead of on the Mac's internal drive, EFI Boot will not appear in the boot picker until you connect the drive.

Una vez que hayas creado la unidad USB de arranque, hayas hecho una copia de seguridad de todo y hayas instalado correctamente OpenCore en tu Mac, estarás listo para continuar.

Reinicia tu Mac y mantén presionada la tecla Opción (alt) en tu Mac.

En el Administrador de inicio, verás el logotipo de OpenCore y dirá "Arranque EFI"

Al iniciar en el selector de arranque OCLP de OpenCore por primera vez, tu Mac se iniciará en él de manera predeterminada en cada reinicio.

Debe tener la unidad USB conectada a la Mac ANTES de cargar el selector de arranque OCLP, de lo contrario no aparecerá. Además, si tuvo que instalar OpenCore en la unidad USB en lugar de en la unidad interna de la Mac, el arranque EFI no aparecerá en el selector de arranque hasta que conectes la unidad.
