Remove the face sensor interconnect cable

Slide an opening pick under the face sensor interconnect cable to loosen the adhesive securing it to the battery.
Remove the sensor interconnect cable.
Transfer the cable to your replacement battery. Be sure to align it using the two alignment cutouts, and use some double-sided tape such as Tesa tape to secure it.
