Cable

Cut off the existing cable leaving about 10" attached to the pedal circuit board.

Strip the cable and the inner conductors.

Using a multimeter in continuity mode, test the tip, ring, and sleeve conductors for continuity.

Be sure to move the cable around to test for possible intermittent breaks especially where the cable enters the pedal assembly.

If your existing cable is good, go to the next step.

Unsolder the existing cable. Remove the cable clamp and zip tie.
-
Strip the new replacement cable and solder it to the pedal circuit board.
-
Add a zip tie as a strain relief for the cable.
