  • Now head to "Security" in the panel.

  • Security deals with SIP (System Integrity Protection) on your Mac. In order the run this EFI, and Root Patches later on, you must have SIP disabled slightly, but not entirely (yes, that is possible).

  • OpenCore always has these three items checked. I would recommend not touching this unless you have issues later on. If that happens, check all of the items.

  • As you check items, SIP gets lower. If nothing is checked, SIP is completely enabled. If everything is checked, SIP is disabled. By keeping the three items checked, you can use your Mac with SIP mostly enabled.

  • DO NOT TOUCH KERNEL SECURITY! Kernel Security deals with making sure no malware gets deep into the Mac's files. But, Root Patching needs to get deep into the files for Root Patching to work. So, keep the two items on the left checked. If for some reason they are not checked, check them now, or Root Patching will not work.

  • If you want to use the features of OpenCore without actually updating your macOS Version, you can check Secure Boot Model. THIS WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO UPDATE macOS!

  • Secure boot model also requires you to spoof your Mac. If you check this and do not spoof correctly, your Mac will not boot.

Ora vai a "Sicurezza" sul pannello.

La sezione Sicurezza riguarda SIP (System Integrity Protection) sul tuo Mac. Per eseguire questo EFI e applicare successivamente le patch Root, devi disattivare parzialmente SIP, ma non completamente (sì, è possibile farlo).

OpenCore ha sempre questi tre oggetti selezionati. Consiglio di non toccarli a meno che non abbiate dei problemi successivamente. Se succede, controllate tutti gli oggetti.

Man mano che selezioni elementi, il livello di protezione SIP si abbassa. Se non è selezionato nulla, SIP è completamente attivo. Se tutto è selezionato, SIP è disattivato. Mantenendo selezionati solo tre elementi, puoi usare il tuo Mac con SIP per lo più attivo.

NON TOCCARE KERNEL SECURITY! KS serve a impedire che malware acceda in profondità ai file del Mac. Tuttavia, il Root Patching ha bisogno di accedere a quei file per funzionare correttamente. Quindi, mantieni selezionati i due elementi sulla sinistra. Se per qualche motivo non lo sono, selezionali ora, altrimenti il Root Patching non funzionerà.

Se vuoi utilizzare le funzionalità di OpenCore senza effettivamente aggiornare la versione di macOS, puoi selezionare "Secure Boot Model". QUESTO NON TI PERMETTERÀ DI AGGIORNARE macOS!

Il modello di avvio sicuro richiede anche che tu esegua lo spoofing del tuo Mac. Se attivi questa opzione e non effettui lo spoofing correttamente, il tuo Mac non si avvierà.
