  • Now head to "Security" in the panel.

  • Security deals with SIP (System Integrity Protection) on your Mac. In order the run this EFI, and Root Patches later on, you must have SIP disabled slightly, but not entirely (yes, that is possible).

  • OpenCore always has these three items checked. I would recommend not touching this unless you have issues later on. If that happens, check all of the items.

  • As you check items, SIP gets lower. If nothing is checked, SIP is completely enabled. If everything is checked, SIP is disabled. By keeping the three items checked, you can use your Mac with SIP mostly enabled.

  • DO NOT TOUCH KERNEL SECURITY! Kernel Security deals with making sure no malware gets deep into the Mac's files. But, Root Patching needs to get deep into the files for Root Patching to work. So, keep the two items on the left checked. If for some reason they are not checked, check them now, or Root Patching will not work.

  • If you want to use the features of OpenCore without actually updating your macOS Version, you can check Secure Boot Model. THIS WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO UPDATE macOS!

  • Secure boot model also requires you to spoof your Mac. If you check this and do not spoof correctly, your Mac will not boot.

Ahora dirígete a "Seguridad" en el panel.

La seguridad se ocupa de SIP (Protección de integridad del sistema) en su Mac. Para poder ejecutar este EFI y los parches raíz más adelante, debes tener SIP ligeramente deshabilitado, pero no del todo (sí, es posible).

OpenCore siempre tiene estos tres elementos marcados. Recomendaría no tocar esto a menos que tengas problemas más adelante. Si eso sucede, verifica todos los elementos.

A medida que revisas los elementos, el SIP disminuye. Si no se marca nada, SIP está completamente habilitado. Si todo está marcado, SIP está deshabilitado. Si mantienes marcados los tres elementos, podrás usar tu Mac con SIP mayormente habilitado.

¡NO TOQUES LA SEGURIDAD DEL KERNEL! La seguridad del núcleo se ocupa de garantizar que ningún malware se introduzca en los archivos de Mac. Sin embargo, Root Patching debe introducirse en los archivos para que funcione. Por lo tanto, mantén marcadas las dos opciones de la izquierda.

Si por alguna razón no están marcados, márcalos ahora o Root Patching no funcionará.

Si deseas utilizar las funciones de OpenCore sin actualizar tu versión de macOS, puedes consultar el Modelo de arranque seguro. ¡ESTO NO TE PERMITIRÁ ACTUALIZAR macOS!

El modelo de arranque seguro también requiere que falsee su Mac. Si lo comprueba y no lo hace correctamente, su Mac no arrancará.
