  • USB 1.1

  • This issue only revolves around any Mac Pre-2009 running macOS Ventura, Sonoma, and Sequoia.

  • Apple dropped all support for any Mac that has USB 1.1. This includes Trackpad, Mouse, External USB, Bluetooth, and Infrared.

  • Because of this, running macOS Recovery is impossible, and therefore macOS 13+ cannot run on any Mac older than 2009.

  • The only workaround for this is to purchase a USB 2.0 (not 3.0) hub and connect an external mouse and keyboard to install macOS and eventually run root patching. Since there is currently no better option, it is recommended to stay off of macOS Ventura and newer.
