  • To avoid this as best as possible, you need to determine the power of your Mac:

  • Generally, all Macs from 2012 onward excluding the 2012 Mac Pro have Metal support.

  • If your Mac does NOT have metal graphics, you will be unable to smoothly run macOS Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma, and especially Apple's latest Operating System: Sequoia.

  • Thanks to the new versions of OpenCore, graphics acceleration without Metal graphics is nearly perfect. But, it is still not fully supported.

Um sowas zu vermeiden, musst du feststellen, welche Leistungen dein Mac hat.

Alle Macs ab 2012 - ausgenommen der 2012er Mac Pro - unterstützen Metal-Grafik.

Wenn dein Mac diese Unterstützung für Metal-Grafik nicht hat, kann MacOS Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma und vor allem Sequoia nicht ordentlich laufen.

Danke der neuen Versionen von Open Core ist die Grafikbeschleunigung ohne Metal nahezu perfekt. Komplett ist sie allerdings nicht unterstützt.
