Remove the fuser film sleeve

The fuser film sleeve can now be removed from above the pressure roller and left to rest on top of the fuser. It is not necessary to disconnect the fuser heater if only the pressure roller is being replaced.
In the pictures, this roller was moved earlier in the sequence. But it is better to leave this fragile component in place for as long as possible.
