Test the door switch

If you have a multimeter, you can test the freezer door switch for continuity.
Set the multimeter to the ohm setting.
Check continuity between the two orange wire terminals on the connector.
The switch should show less than one ohm resistance in the unpressed position.
When pressed, the switch should show no connection.
If your switch does not function as described above, follow the next steps to remove and replace it.
