Lift the display

  • The iPad shown in the following two steps is the iPad Pro 12.9" 1st Generation. The internals look slightly different but the taping procedure is the same.

  • The display cables in this iPad are very short. Read the next two steps before you proceed.

  • Do not pivot the screen about the lower edge. The display cables don't have enough slack to allow for this and will tear if you do not slide the screen towards the front-facing camera as you lift.

  • The display cables will tear if you raise the screen more than 90º.

  • Lift up the upper edge of the screen and slide the entire screen towards the front-facing camera to access the iPad's internal components.

  • Use masking tape to tape the lower edge of the screen to the frame to prevent the screen from slipping.

Levanta la pantalla

El iPad que se muestra en los siguientes dos pasos es el iPad Pro de 12,9" de 1.ª generación. El interior es ligeramente diferente, pero el procedimiento de fijación con cinta adhesiva es el mismo.

Los cables de la pantalla de este iPad son muy cortos. Lea los dos pasos siguientes antes de continuar.

No gires la pantalla sobre el borde inferior. Los cables de la pantalla no tienen suficiente holgura para ello y se romperán si no desliza la pantalla hacia la cámara frontal al levantarla.

Los cables de la pantalla se romperán si levanta la pantalla más de 90°.

Levanta el borde superior de la pantalla y deslízala completamente hacia la cámara frontal para acceder a los componentes internos del iPad.

Usa cinta adhesiva para fijar el borde inferior de la pantalla al marco y evitar que se deslice.
