Adhesive tip

  • Removing the screen involves using an opening pick and/or halberd spudger to separate the adhesive securing the screen to the frame.

  • As you slice through the adhesive, note the following:

  • The adhesive on the long edges of the iPad is about 4 mm wide. Avoid slicing deeper than that, or you risk damaging the display panel.

  • The adhesive on the short edges of the iPad is about 2 mm wide. Avoid slicing deeper than that.

  • Take especially care when slicing near the home button and charging port to avoid damaging the flex cables.

  • Take extra care when you slice near the front facing camera, to avoid damaging or smearing it.

Consigli per l'adesivo

Rimuovere lo schermo comporta l'uso di un plettro di apertura e/o uno spudger halberd per separare l'adesivo che tiene fermo lo schermo sul telaio.

Mentre tagli l'adesivo, nota quanto segue:

L'adesivo nei bordi lunghi dell'iPad è largo 4 mm. Evita di tagliarlo più profondamente di così, o rischi di danneggiare il pannello del display.

L'adesivo nei bordi corti dell'iPad è largo 2 mm. Evita di tagliarlo più profondamente di così.

Sta' molto attento quando tagli vicino al pulsante home e alla porta di ricarica per evitare danni ai cavi flessibili.

Presta molta attenzione mentre tagli vicino alla fotocamera frontale, per evitare di danneggiarla o sporcarla.
