Align the other side of the elastic to the inner heel of the shoe.

Fold the heel of the shoe outward for ease of sewing.

Start sewing from the inside of the shoe to the outside for a clean finish and a secure stitch.

When you finish sewing the elastic, secure your stitch with a knot.

Cut off the excess thread.

Repeat steps 4-5 for both shoes.
