Heat & Prep

  • Go ahead and warm up the back side with the tools you have. CPB Heating Pad, Heat Gun, or the iOpener work best.

  • Don’t forget that 90%+ Isopropyl alcohol is nonconductive. It helps make light work of the majority of steps in this repair.

  • If the adhesive is warm and has enough give you may start the opening porting with the iFixit Opening Pick(s). If not there is a different way to get the pick to penetrate the adhesive in the next step.

Chauffer et préparer

Réchauffez la face arrière avec les outils dont vous disposez. Le coussin chauffant CPB, le pistolet à air chaud ou l'iOpener sont les meilleurs outils.

N'oubliez pas que l'alcool isopropylique à plus de 90 % n'est pas conducteur. Il permet d'alléger la plupart des étapes de cette réparation.

Si l'adhésif est chaud et qu'il a suffisamment de prise, vous pouvez commencer à ouvrir l'orifice à l'aide du/des médiator(s) d'ouverture iFixit. Si ce n'est pas le cas, il existe une autre façon de faire pénétrer le médiator dans l'adhésif à l'étape suivante.
