Before inserting the new RAM, make sure there are more pins on the left side of the new RAM before the space in between so that the RAM goes in the slot correctly.
When the RAM is inserted, push it down and the hinges will automatically hold the RAM in its place.
Make sure to not apply pressure to any part. Everything should be done with care and ease.
