Initiate the Update

  • Re-enter the Hands Free Module-Section of the Service Menu.

  • Press on the S/W Update-button.

  • If there is no S/W Update-button it means that the head unit didn't detect a valid file on the flash drive. This either means that you already have a version newer than the firmware file installed (as is the case for me), an incompatible firmware file, or that the system can't read the flash drive.

Inicia la Actualización

Ingresa nuevamente al Hands Free Module-Section del Service Menu.

Presiona el botón S/W Update.

Si no hay un botón S/W Update esto significa que la unidad principal no detecto un archivo válido en la unidad flash. Esto significa que tienes una versión mas nueva que la versión de firmware ya instalada (el cual es el caso para mí), o un archivo firmaware incompatible, o que el sistema no puede leer la unidad flash.
