Disconnect the Thunderbolt ports

  • This guide shows how to replace both Thunderbolt ports. If you're replacing a single port, only perform each action on that port.

  • Use a spudger to pry up and disconnect the Thunderbolt port press connectors from the right edge of the logic board.
