Remove the battery cable

  • If your replacement battery doesn’t come with a cable preinstalled, you’ll have to transfer your original cable to the new battery.

  • Take care not to puncture or bend the battery—it can leak dangerous chemicals and/or catch fire.

  • Flip the battery over and lay it on a clean working surface.

  • Use one hand to secure the battery.

  • Use your other hand to firmly pull the battery connector out of its socket on the bottom edge of the battery.

  • Remove the battery cable from its recess between the two battery cells.

  • During reassembly, transfer the battery cable to your new battery, making sure the cable is snug between the battery cells.

Quitar el cable de la batería

Si la batería de reemplazo no viene con un cable preinstalado, tendrás que transferir el cable original a la batería nueva.

Ten cuidado de no pinchar ni doblar la batería, ya que podría derramar sustancias químicas peligrosas o incendiarse.

Dale la vuelta a la batería y colócala sobre una superficie de trabajo limpia.

Utiliza una mano para sujetar la batería.

Utiliza la otra mano para sacar con firmeza el conector de batería de su zócalo, situado en el borde inferior de la batería.

Saca el cable de la batería de su alojamiento entre las dos celdas de la batería.

Durante el reensamblaje, transfiere el cable de la batería a la batería nueva, asegurándote de que el cable quede ajustado entre las celdas de la batería.
