Check for strip-to-strip shorts

  • Use your multimeter to test that there's no contact between the two strips. Your meter should read OL.

  • If there's some resistance value between the strips, check for physical contact between the strips.

  • If there's physical contact like a bent strip or a cracked holder, replace the holder.

  • If there's some resistance value, and there's no physical contact between the strips, go to the next step to replace the connector module.

Kijk of er kortsluiting is geweest tussen strips

Gebruik je multimeter om te controleren of er geen contact tussen de twee strips. De meter zou OL aan moeten geven.

Als er weerstand tussen de strips wordt gemeten, controleer je of de strips elkaar aanraken.

Als er direct contact is tussen twee strips, omdat er bijvoorbeeld een strip gebogen is of een houder beschadigd is, vervang je de houder van de strip.

Als je meerstand meet maar er is geen direct contact tussen twee verschillende strips, ga je verder met de volgende stap en vervang je de aansluitingsmodule.
