Unfasten the heatsink

Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the six captive screws securing the heatsink.
Don't try to fully remove the screws, as they're held to the heatsink with springs.
During reassembly, tighten the screws in ascending order (starting with 1) based on the number printed next to each screw.
