Test the inlet thermistor

  • This step shows how to test the inlet thermistor. If you just need to replace the hi-limit thermostat or inlet thermistor, you can skip this step.

  • With the thermistor removed from the heater housing, test for resistance with the multimeter across the two small terminals.

  • The resistance values of this component vary. You may be able to locate a tech sheet booklet in the chassis of the dryer to find the value.

  • If the device shows outside the correct range, replace it.

Test de inlet thermistor

In deze stap zie je hoe je de inlet thermistor test. Als je zeker weet dat je de module gaat vervangen, kun je deze stap overslaan.

Nu de thermistor uit de behuizing verwijderd is, meet je de weerstand tussen de twee kleine terminals met behulp van je multimeter.

De weerstandswaarden van dit onderdeel variëren. Mogelijk vind je een technisch onderhoudsboekje in het chassis van de droger waarin je de te meten waarde in kunt vinden.

Als de gemeten waarde buiten het bereik van de te meten weerstandswaarde valt, moet je de module vervangen.
