Test the inlet thermistor

  • This step shows how to test the inlet thermistor. If you just need to replace the hi-limit thermostat or inlet thermistor, you can skip this step.

  • With the thermistor removed from the heater housing, test for resistance with the multimeter across the two small terminals.

  • The resistance values of this component vary. You may be able to locate a tech sheet booklet in the chassis of the dryer to find the value.

  • If the device shows outside the correct range, replace it.

Einlass-Thermistor testen

Dieser Schritt zeigt dir, wie du den Einlass-Thermistor testen kannst. Wenn du nur den Thermostat oder den Einlass-Thermistor austauschen musst, kannst du diesen Schritt überspringen.

Wenn du den Thermistor aus dem Heizelementgehäuse ausgebaut hast, prüfe mit dem Multimeter den Widerstand an den beiden kleinen Klemmen.

Die Widerstandswerte dieses Bauteils sind unterschiedlich. Vielleicht findest du den Wert in einem technischen Datenblatt im Gehäuse des Trockners.

Wenn das Gerät einen Wert außerhalb des korrekten Bereichs anzeigt, tausche das Bauteil aus.
