Cleaning and relubing.

  • Lift up the tube.

  • Clean all the surfaces, threads and insides with a degreaser and a cloth that does not leave debris. I used medical gauze pads.

  • Use a silicon based lubricant (not petrol based) to lube the O-ring on the tube and the one (small one) from the bottom. There are a total of 2 O-rings in this regulator.

  • Use lubricant only on the O-rings and make sure it does not go or spill anywhere else. Do not spray lubricant directly as it will get vary messy and you do not want it anywhere else, besides on the rubber.

Schoonmaken en invetten

Trek de slang omhoog.

Maak alle oppervlaktes, schroefdraad en binnenkanten schoon met een vetverwijderaar en een stofvrije doek. Ik heb medisch gaaskompres gebruikt.

Gebruik nieuw vet op basis van silicoon (niet op basis van olie), om de O-ringen in te vetten. In totaal zijn er twee O-ringen aanwezig; een O-ring op de slang en een kleinere O-ring aan de onderkant.

Gebruik alleen vet op de O-ringen en wees er zeker van dat het niet ergens anders terecht komt. Gebruik geen vetspray, dit maakt het namelijk erg lastig om alleen de ringen in te vetten.
