Remove the microphone daughterboard

  • Remove the ribbon cable connecting the daughterboard to the mainboard.

  • Open the microphone to expose a hidden screw

  • Remove the screw retaining the front plastic facade.

  • The microphone will now come out. Take care as it's attached to the daughterboard via a small fragile soldered cable.

  • With the microphone out, remove the screw retaining the daughterboard.

  • Gently pry the daughterboard out. Prying from the curved section towards the screw (as the yellow arrow points) worked well for me.

  • Take care once the daughterboard is free, as it is still connected to the mainboard via soldered wires.

Tochterplatine des Mikrofons entfernen

Löse das Flachbandkabel, mit dem die Tochterplatine an der Hauptplatine verbunden ist.

Öffne das Mikrofon. Eine Schraube wird sichtbar.

Entferne die Schraube, mit der die vordere Halteleiste befestigt ist.

Nun kann das Mikrofon entfernt werden. Arbeite vorsichtig, es ist mit empfindlichen Kabeln an der Tochterplatine angeschlossen.

Entferne die Schraube, mit der die Tochterplatine befestigt ist.

Heble die Tochterplatine vorsichtig heraus. Es geht gut, wenn du von der runden Kante in Richtung der Schraube hebelst, wie durch den gelben Pfeil markiert.

Achte darauf, dass die Tochterplatine immer noch mit empfindlichen Kabeln an der Hauptplatine angeschlossen ist.
