Remove the speaker daughterboard
  • Remove the 2 screws holding the rear plastic facade that retains the buttons and volume wheel.

  • Carefully pull the daughterboard out. Note there is a plastic tab retaining it, but with the facade out of the way, the board is easily removed. Also note there is a ribbon cable attaching it to the mainboard.

  • Detach the ribbon cable from the daughterboard.
