Unscrewing the case

  • There are five screws to undo - one in the bottom centre (just above the two smaller holes), and four underneath the rubber feet. You will need to peel the feet off the case to access these - mine were so aged and stiffened they crumbled apart when I tried. You can optionally replace these later with new rubber feet up to 14mm in diameter.

  • Push down hard when starting to loosen each a screw. They have been set in hard, cheap plastic for possibly decades, and may take some force to start moving.

Desatornillar la caja

Hay cinco tornillos que quitar: uno en la parte central inferior (justo encima de los dos agujeros más pequeños) y cuatro debajo de las patas de goma. Tendrás que despegar las patas de la caja para acceder a ellos; las mías estaban tan viejas y rígidas que se desmoronaron cuando lo intenté.

Opcionalmente, puedes reemplazarlas más tarde con patas de goma nuevas de hasta 14 mm de diámetro.

Presiona con fuerza cuando comiences a aflojar cada tornillo. Han estado colocadas en plástico duro y barato durante posiblemente décadas y puede que se necesite algo de fuerza para comenzar a moverse.
