Remove the solder bridge

  • With the solder wick on top of the solder bridge, heat the wick using the soldering iron by pressing on top of the affected area.

  • The solder wick will be very hot! Avoiding touching the area of the wick near the soldering iron.

  • Alternatively, use wire cutters to cut off about 2 cm (0.75") of braid. Use tweezers or needle nose pliers to place it as described above.

  • Continue to apply pressure with the soldering iron to the solder bridge until the solder is melted and absorbed by the wick.

  • A soldering flux can also be used here to aid in the desoldering process by reducing oxide films.

Retira el puente de soldadura

Con la mecha de soldadura sobre el puente de soldadura, calienta la mecha usando el soldador presionando sobre el área afectada.

¡La mecha de soldar estará muy caliente! Evita tocar la zona de la mecha cercana al soldador.

Como alternativa, utiliza unas tenazas de cortar alambres para cortar unos 2 cm (0,75") de trenza. Utiliza pinzas o pinzas de punta de aguja para colocarla como se ha descrito anteriormente.

Sigue presionando con el soldador sobre el puente de soldadura hasta que la soldadura se funda y sea absorbida por la mecha.

También se puede usar aquí un flujo de soldadura para ayudar en el proceso de desoldar reduciendo las películas de óxido.
