Reposition the interconnect cable

Don't crease or strain the interconnect cable during this step.
Flip the interconnect cable over the bottom of the phone to access to the battery.
It can be handy to use a small piece of tape to temporarily stick the cable onto your work surface to hold it out of your way during battery removal.
