Remove The Side Brushes

  • This step is required to repair the side brushes or beater bar motor. It can be skipped in most other repairs.

  • Remove the two silver 10mm screws holding each side brush motor.

  • It is usually possible to remove these screws without detatching all of the wires from the motherboard, but after unscrewing the motherboard and lifting it gently over its centering pegs.

  • Unplug each motor from the motherboard, if necessary, and remove.

Quita los cepillos laterales

Este paso es necesario para reparar los cepillos laterales o el motor de la barra batidora. Se puede omitir en la mayoría de las demás reparaciones.

Retira los dos tornillos plateados de 10 mm que sujetan cada motor del cepillo lateral.

Generalmente es posible quitar estos tornillos sin desconectar todos los cables de la placa base, pero después de desatornillar la placa base y levantarla suavemente sobre sus clavijas de centrado.

Desconecta cada motor de la placa base, si es necesario, y retíralo.
