Unscrew And Unplug The Motherboard

  • This step is required to replace the motherboard, side brushes, or beater bar motor. It can be skipped in most other repairs.

  • Remove the 5 silver 7mm screws retaining the motherboard and daughter boards.

  • Fold down the center daughter board and remove the hidden silver 10mm screw. This screw holds in the beater bar housing and can be skipped for other repairs.

  • Remove all of the cables connecting the motherboard to the rest of the unit.

  • There are some connectors underneath the left side of the board, marked in yellow.

  • Depending on your repair, you may not need to remove all or any connectors to access the necessary screws.

Desatornilla y desconecta la placa base

Este paso es necesario para reemplazar la placa base, los cepillos laterales o el motor de la barra batidora. Se puede omitir en la mayoría de las demás reparaciones.

Retira los 5 tornillos plateados de 7 mm que sujetan la placa base y las placas secundarias.

Dobla hacia abajo la placa hija central y quita el tornillo plateado oculto de 10 mm. Este tornillo se sujeta a la carcasa de la barra batidora y se puede omitir para otras reparaciones.

Retira todos los cables que conectan la placa base al resto de la unidad.

Hay algunos conectores debajo del lado izquierdo de la placa, marcados en amarillo.

Dependiendo de tu reparación, es posible que no necesites quitar todos o algunos conectores para acceder a los tornillos necesarios.
