Perform a seal test

To test if your replacement door seal is working, perform the following:
Open the door slightly and insert a clean, flat bill between the door seal and the frame.
Close the door and slowly drag the bill away from the device.
If the seal is tight, then you should feel a moderate amount of resistance in the bill.
