  • Push up the latch connected to the ribbon cable on the I/O board with a nylon spudger.

  • Gently remove the cable from the I/O board with tweezers.

  • It is not required to remove the ribbon cable from the motherboard, only from the I/O board.

  • Remove the 5 mm screw from the I/O board using a JIS #00 screwdriver.
