Remove the old socket

  • Unscrew and remove the cover.

  • If you want to add a RJ45 jack but only have the first outlet, that you can’t replace, to work with, you can just mount the new outlet next to the old one. You’ll need to connect La to 6 and Lb to 5. You can use any kind of shielded twisted pair cable to wire the new outlet.

  • Remove the the connections.

  • Keep track of La and Lb. You’ll need to know what wires to connect where in the new socket.

  • Unscrew the socket from the wall.

Retirer l'ancienne prise

Dévisser et retirer le couvercle.

Si vous souhaitez ajouter une prise RJ45 mais que vous ne disposez que de la 1ere prise, ne pouvant être remplacer, vous pouvez installer la nouvelle prise à côté de l'ancienne. Vous devrez connecter la fiche La à la 6 et la fiche Lb à la 5. Vous pouvez utiliser n'importe quel type de câble blindé à paires torsadées pour câbler la nouvelle prise.

Retirer les connexions.

Notez également La et Lb. Vous devrez savoir quels fils connecter à quel endroit de la nouvelle prise.

Dévisser la prise du mur.
