Remove any remaining adhesive

If all 14 strips came out without breaking off, you can skip the next two steps.
Apply a few drops of highly-concentrated isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) under the battery near the broken adhesive strips.
Avoid applying isopropyl alcohol under the speakers, as it will loosen them from the frame.
Wait one to two minutes for the adhesive to soften.
