Clearing the cold water path

  • By now, the descaler should have done its job on the path leading to the boilers (scale shouldn't be much of an issue where the water is cold here, but it can't hurt)

  • With the machine heated up, and fresh water in both the tank and in the boilers, run your brew cycle, hot water tap and steam until the water level in the tank reduces a bit. We should now have sparkling clean lines leading to the boilers. However, the boilers now have just a bit of descaler mixed with the fresh water. Turn the machine off

  • Since the boilers never completely drain, we have to drain and rinse them one last time. Repeat the previous step to do this, and replace the probes and wires for the final time!

Limpiar el camino del agua fría

A estas alturas, el descalcificador debería haber hecho su trabajo en el camino que conduce a las calderas (la cal no debería ser un gran problema donde el agua está fría aquí, pero no puede hacer daño)

Con la máquina calentada y agua fresca tanto en el tanque como en las calderas, ejecuta el ciclo de preparación, el grifo de agua caliente y el vapor hasta que el nivel de agua en el tanque baje un poco. Ahora deberíamos tener líneas limpias y relucientes que conducen a las calderas.

Sin embargo, las calderas ahora tienen solo un poco de descalcificador mezclado con el agua fresca. Apaga la máquina.

Como las calderas nunca se drenan por completo, tenemos que vaciarlas y enjuagarlas una última vez. Repite el paso anterior para hacer esto, ¡y vuelve a colocar las sondas y los cables por última vez!
