Descale the cold water path

  • Optional step! You can go straight to descaling the boilers if you wish to skip the cold path leading to the boilers. This area is much less likely to have scale and it will save a lot of time. Recommended if you've already done a complete version in the past.

  • First, ensure your machine has full boilers. To do this, simply turn it on and wait a few seconds. If the boiler detects it needs to be topped up, the pump will run. Once this is done, turn the machine back off.

  • Empty your water tank, and mix up your preferred descaling solution per package instructions. Add this to your tank, and place it back into the machine.

  • Turn your machine on and wait for it to get to temperature

  • Once at temperature, either run the clean cycle or hot water for enough time that you note the tank level has dropped. Important At this point, we want to turn the machine off. All we are trying to do with this step is get descaler into the plumbing leading to the boilers.

  • Your machine is off, right? Remove the water tank and reserve the remaining descaler for use in the next step. Clean and rinse your tank and fill with fresh water and replace.

Ontkalk het koudwaterpad.

Optionele stap! Je kunt meteen overgaan tot het ontkalken van de boilers als je het koude pad naar de boilers wilt overslaan. In dit gebied is de kans op kalkaanslag veel kleiner en het bespaart veel tijd. Aanrader als je in het verleden al een complete versie hebt gedaan.

Zorg er eerst voor dat uw machine volle boilers heeft. Om dit te doen, zet je hem gewoon aan en wacht je een paar seconden. Als de boiler detecteert dat hij moet worden bijgevuld, zal de pomp gaan draaien. Zodra dit gebeurd is, zet je de machine weer uit.

Leeg je waterreservoir en meng de ontkalkingsoplossing van je voorkeur volgens de instructies op de verpakking. Doe dit in je reservoir en plaats het terug in de machine.

Zet je machine aan en wacht tot hij op temperatuur is.

Zodra de machine op temperatuur is, laat u de schoonmaakcyclus of het heet water zo lang draaien dat u merkt dat het niveau in de tank gedaald is. Belangrijk: op dit punt willen we de machine uitschakelen. Met deze stap proberen we alleen ontkalker in de leidingen naar de boilers te krijgen.

Je machine staat toch uit? Verwijder het waterreservoir en reserveer de resterende ontkalker voor gebruik in de volgende stap. Reinig en spoel je tank, vul hem met vers water en plaats hem terug.
