Replacing HDD

  • Now with HDD cover off, we can remove our disk.

  • Gently press on the disk and move it lelt - away from SATA connector, until it'll be disconnected.

  • Then, pull it upwards and out of HDD/SSD bay. Don't forget about that rubber element as it is a part form laptop, pull it off of old HDD and push it onto new one.

  • Beware! This laptop can only fit slim (7mm thick) 2,5" HDDs! Normal sized old HDDs may not fit. 2,5" SSDs regular thickness is 7mm, so they should fit.

  • To insert new disk, aim to insert the connectors first, then gently press it down into the bay.

Austausch der HDD

Nachdem die HDD-Abdeckung entfernt wurde, können wir die Festplatte herausnehmen.

Drücke vorsichtig auf die Festplatte und bewege sie nach links - weg vom SATA-Anschluss, bis sie abgetrennt ist.

Ziehe sie dann nach oben und aus dem HDD/SSD-Schacht. Vergiess nicht das Gummielement, da es Teil des Laptops ist. Entferne es von der alten HDD und befestige es an der neuen.

Achtung! In diesen Laptop passen nur flache (7 mm dicke) 2,5 Zoll HDDs! Normal große alte HDDs passen möglicherweise nicht. 2,5 Zoll SSDs haben eine reguläre Dicke von 7 mm, sollten also passen.

Um die neue Festplatte einzulegen, setze zuerst die Stecker ein und drücke sie dann vorsichtig in den Schacht.
