Removing the old Lip and Follower.

Place the magazine on its side, with the release valve facing you.

Use a small bit and a hammer to carefully remove the two pins that hold the lip.

Be very careful and hold the magazine spring with your finger or something else, because when you remove the pins, everything may fly into oblivion.
