Remove the battery

  • Remove the battery.

  • During reassembly, remove the old adhesive with tweezers and isopropyl alcohol.

  • If there are any drops of isopropyl alcohol remaining, use a lint-free cloth to wipe them away or allow the iPad to air dry before installing a new battery.

  • Apply stretch-release adhesive strips, double sided adhesive tape, or pre-cut adhesive to secure the new battery.

  • Don't reuse the battery after it has been removed, as doing so is a potential safety hazard.

Akku entfernen

Entferne den Akku.

Entferne beim Zusammenbau noch vorhandene Kleberreste mit einer Pinzette und Isopropylakohol.

Wenn noch Restfeuchtigkeit vom Alkohol verblieben ist, dann wische sie mit einem fusselfreien Tuch weg oder lasse das iPad gut austrocknen, bevor du den neuen Akku einbaust.

Befestige den Ersatzakku mit neuen elastischen Klebestreifen, doppelseitigem Klebeband oder vorgestanzten Klebestreifen.

Einen ausgebauten Akku darfst du nicht noch einmal verwenden, das ist ein Sicherheitsrisiko. Ersetze ihn durch einen neuen.
