Remove the screen

The digitizer cables prevent the screen from being lifted straight up from the frame.
Lift the left side of the screen to a 45-degree angle and remove it.
If the screen is still stuck to the frame, slide an opening pick around the perimeter and try again.
During reassembly, follow this guide to replace the screen adhesive.
