Separate the lower battery cell adhesive

  • Lay the iPad down flat on your work surface.

  • Insert a plastic card under the left side of the lower battery cell to separate the adhesive securing it to the frame.

  • Don't force the card or bend the battery—a punctured or bent battery may leak dangerous chemicals or cause a fire.

  • If it's difficult to insert or slide the card, apply more isopropyl alcohol, wait one minute, and try again.

  • Leave the plastic card in place to prevent the adhesive from re-sealing.

Separa el adhesivo de la celda inferior de la batería.

Coloca el iPad sobre tu superficie de trabajo.

Inserta una tarjeta de plástico debajo del lado izquierdo de la celda de la batería inferior para separar el adhesivo que la fija al marco.

No fuerces la tarjeta ni doble la batería—una batería perforada o doblada puede filtrar sustancias químicas peligrosas o provocar un incendio.

Si resulta difícil insertar o deslizar la tarjeta, aplica más alcohol isopropílico, espera un minuto y vuelva a intentarlo.

Deja la tarjeta de plástico en su lugar para evitar que el adhesivo se vuelva a sellar.
